Christmas in the Caribbean

My first Christmas as a wife. We're celebrating 5 months of marriage tomorrow (the 24th) and we received a little treat, our wedding video! I'll share below!

Also, a little life update for family and friends. Dophcar and I initially thought we would only be here in the Dominican Republic a couple months while his visa processes. Clearly we were wrong, lol. Those couple months have turned into half a year and at this point, it could be much longer. The U.S. embassies have been closed due to Covid so it has put our initial plans on hold. (For those that don't know, he's never been able to visit the states)

Praying our process goes smoothly and a little speedier, too. We'll be visiting Haiti before we move back to the states because we're unsure how long we'll have to be in the U.S. before we can return or visit Haiti. I've never been to his hometown so I'm so excited for that -- they also have beautiful beaches and you know this girl loves the sun! 

It feels so odd to have Christmas in the Caribbean - warm sunny weather and Christmas just don't go together in my opinion. But hey, we're making the best of it. I'd looooove to be back in the states to experience church at OBC since its finally complete! I know God will be on the move. And if you don't belong to a church family, you're welcome there!

Friday Finds - Miscellaneous

Hi Krew, 

I'm back with another week of Friday Finds but unlike our normal routine, this one is from tons of different retailers!

This weeks items make me think of the holidays - pair that sweater and skirt and you have the classiest little Thanksgiving Day outfit but of course you can wear again as your Sunday Best. 

I shared a few NYE dress / outfit options as well. I loooove that satin jumpsuit. Actually I love everything I shared - who am I kidding?

Amazon Part II

We have a little bit of everything this week! 

JBL Speaker - great gift and great sound. Its waterproof and you can pair with other JBL speakers for louder volume... not that you'll need it. These bad boys get loud. I love ours. 

Stacking set - honestly obsessed with these colors but if you have a little boy - there's more options! On major sale right now for just $14 bucks. Great for toddlers! 

The Glycolic Acid facial scrub - one of my holy grail skin care products! I've been using this for around a year + I love it. Plus, the smell is fantastic. 

It's a 10 - I've been using this for years. If you haven't tried it, maybe just purchase one but for all those lovers, you might as well buy the two pack. You know you'll use it or you can gift it to a friend. 

Skin Therapy Oil - Great for scars and stretch marks. Use before bed and you'll wake up feeling moisturized. 

The top - I mean I just think its so cute. I have it + I love it so I thought maybe you other girls would, too!

The dress - Perfect for fall and so many different color options available! 

The set - I'm kinda obsessed with neutrals and sets if you couldnt already tell - this is the perfect combo! 

Biker shorts - lots of colors, you choose your fave. Love for working out of with oversized graphic tees and sneakers. 

Bras - 6 pack of comfy bras - great for t shirts and for comfort - we loooove that. 

Weighted Blanket - apparently helps relieve anxiety and is great for the upcoming cooler weather! I'd be happy to receive this as a gift! 

Duvet - duvets are often overpriced in my opinion... but not this one. I have it and I love it - lots of color options, too.

Friday Finds - Walmart

 Another week, another Friday Finds for the Krew! 

This weeks special -- Walmart! Only recommending these because they're some of my favorites!

Shaket - the flannel shirt / jacket - perfect for fall and I kinda love buying mens because its oversized and great for layering! 

The bra - Omgoodness, I pinky promise you'll love this. Okay so yeah, maybe its not the sexiest thing but its definitely the most comfortable. 

Sneakers - we love a good sneaker. Some timberlands or some platform cheetahs - you choose. 

Card holder - LV dupe hello hello. Love this checkered print for fall. Also love not carrying a purse sometimes so this is the move. 

Jerky - Surprise surprise, I'm sure you weren't expecting to see this but my mouth is drooling just looking at it. Hands down the best jerky I've ever tasted in my whole 26 years of living. So tender, so yummy. You wont regret it. Unfortunately I can never find this in stores so online only. 

Sweets - the dark chocolate covered pomegranates - a little treat. I throw them in the freezer and somehow am convinced they taste better that way. 

Laptop - keep an eye out on this guy. I recently broke my MacBook and didn't feel like spending thousands. So I purchased the pink one and love it. Its a great gift idea for Christmas and such a great price. 

Face wash - You might spend hundreds on your holy grail skin care products but this has helped my skin x 1000. Thank you walmart! 

Beauty products - the elf putty primer is top notch pore filling primer. the shine maybelline lipstick in shade baddest beige is one of my all time top picks. Cant go wrong with a detangling wet brush, some falsies to make you look more alive and well and dry shampoo for your third day dirty hair lol

Honestly, the first four photos are a whole look. This would be the cutest outfit for photos! I have this exact backpack and loooove it! Great quality and great price. 

The gel pens take me back to early 2000's... I freaking love them! And who doesn't need a planner for 2021 to reschedule all the things we missed out on this year? Target has always been one of my favorite places to find cute office supplies. 

Okay, imagine this, the oval mirror above your bedside tables -- perfect, I know. The Keurig, I mean look at that size - I love how clean and fresh it looks and it doesn't take up much counter space. 

Also, if you've never bought target pajamas, now is your chance -- so cozy and we loooove cozy. These are some of my favorites.

The knife set - just would be so pretty to leave out and hello its useful, too. 

The carpet cleaner - apparently this stuff is magic. see for yourself! 

The workout bands - add these to your workout and you'll feel the burn! (comes in a three pack so share with friends)

The waist band - wrap this around your waist while working out and watch your figure come back to life.

The workout tank - great reviews and built in padding.. who doesnt love that. 

The workout short - love a good biker short and the pocket for my phone is pretty dang nice, too.

The cup - because why not? if you are anything like me I dont like drinking out of the aluminon / metal cups - the rubber protects the glass from breaking and its so beautiful it makes me want to drink more.

    Lover of denim shorts but don't want any daisy dukes? I had the hardest time finding a pair of denim that were the perfect length and without any holes. Now I just wish I would've bought every pair H&M had.
